I know everyone is desperate to see the results, and it's been under snow for weeks, but heres a couple of shots. It was so sunny that the lighting is awful, but it's not as tatty as before! [:)]

What it does need is a damn good clean, the melting snow has left it covered in muck and run marks. How long should the new paint need before it can be cleaned and waxed?

Looks good Paul. When a car is painted it will be flatted and polished as part of the process,so you can polish it as soon as you get it home if you want. You'll only be putting a layer of wax over the lacquer anyway.

Finally we can let you park in the front row at Rutland [:D] Looking good. Most paintshops will advise you to hold off waxing as long as you can so the fresh paint can cure fully before you mess with it. If you've had it home for weeks it should be fine by now

Looks fantastic, Paul. Look forward to seeing it. Did they manage to fix that split on the top of the driver's door? Ever since I saw that I've been wondering if mine will go eventually!

You do not need to polish it ! polish will put a finish on the car as has been said this will have been done at the shop, you need to protect that new paint with Wax, Do Do juice do some lovely quality products BTW.
