Petrol Cayenne S 2014-ish: V6 turbo?

Am considering selling both my cars (2004 986 S and Mazda 2) to swith to a gen2 Cayenne S. I’m looking for clarification on the petrol V6 in the 2014 S as I’m not sure Wikipedia shows UK market variants. Would like air suspension on it too - was that an option?

Have you driven the Cayenne Diesel? I've had mine sine 2014, driven across Europe, and find it a great every day car with a decent turn of speed if you drive it right. Yes, the S or diesel S will be quicker, but the diesel isn't inadequate - it has decent torque. Recommend you drive one for, say, 24 hours before discounting. If you buy a 3-4 year old car with air suspension I'm not sure how long you have before getting a big-ish bill either. Steel springs aren't bad. In terms of wheels, the 18 inch winter set I got are far more comfortable than the 21 inch summer wheel/tyre set - though the latter look smarter - so choose based on the ride you want, not simply fashion.

The only Cayenne I’ve driven is the Hybrid which I found gutless - perhaps it wasnt charged enough?! The Diesel without doubt would make a better tow car because of the torque but I just get the feeling that the writing is on the wall for diesel. Plus I hate the smell of it!

Agree with your suggestion on the wheels - would prefer those easier to clean too! Good point on the maintenance.
 
I have the 3.6 Petrol Kn.
Really good car fast comfy and quite economical upto 32 MPG
IT IS A 2015/16 model.
HigHly recommended ..
 
Have knocked this precise idea on the head - they seem to be rare as hens teeth and are considerably more money than I want to pay - in fact I can get a GTS or turbo a few years older for quite a lot less.
