Does anyone have the Wilts route that was Peter Morgan's route in the September 2005 edition of 911 & PW? If so, could you post it for me please? I've heard that it is a cracker; I've done most of the roads around Avebury, but I just want to confirm it's the route I've done.

Cheers, Bin

Send me email address and I will send you a copy of complete article.
6 pages about 2500KB each in .jpg format OK?

Hi Bin,

Its not a bad run...done it loads of times as its on my doorstep.
Starts and finishes in Marlborough and takes you through Avebury and then towards Swindon turning right across the Marlborough Downs back into Marlborough. Some nice pubs en-route but watch for the hippies in Avebury as I understand they can make a nasty dent in the car if clipped.[:)]

Since the article was published its amazing how many P cars you seeon it . (I think Peter has a deal with the pubs as he lives just outside Marlborough though I am sure he will deny it)[]

If you see a red Targa...its me....also worth doing in reverse of the article so you finish at the pub

ditto, the red targa going the other way will be me!!! Thanks for this, hopefully see you on the road.
Bin
