I have a Panamera 4S G1 (970) with a strange problem. I recently disconnected the battery and upon reconnecting it the time did not sync to the GPS almanac however the nav works fine with good satellite reception of between 6 and 10. I put another GPS antenna in but it was exactly the same. The date and time started counting from 01/01/2007 and 0000hrs. the time in the settings menu is just dashes and the chrono syncs to the incorrect time from the PCM. I have also lost the time interval for the service indicator which now only shows distance. I have scanned it with a PIWIS 2 and there are no obvious faults to do with the GPS/PCM. All other functions work fine. I am at a loss with this fault and am wondering if anyone else has come across this.
