Hi all,

You must support this, the only PCGB track day in Scotland. It's fabulous day out and great value.

I've booked the whole day session for the third successive year, this time it's my 718 Cayman S PDK rather than my usual Cayman R.

Knockhill is a track I know extremely well, and I shall be pleased to sit in with any first timers to show you the lines, turn-in points and gearing.

Unlike most circuits, Knockhill is not an airfield track. It has undulations and camber changes to challenge the expert and provide fun for the novice.

Please give it your support. See you there!

Brian

Brian,

We don't do track days but enjoy watching you guys but would be interested in the PATH17 event.

Cheers, Melinda

Melinda,

Good to hear your are supporting the Knockhill event. You are welcome to sit in with me for a few laps if you fancy a whirl round.

I'll probably come along and watch.
If you are coming along you will be included in the PATH side of the event where we will have a section for trans-axle Porsche's

It is shaping up to be a good show for anyone who turns up in there Porsche whether they are going for the track day out or just the PATH side of the day .We had our first meeting with KH and as the weeks/months go by we will be adding more things to keep you amused . Certainly no shortage of space to display your Porsche's and they will be fenced off and marshalled so the public are not touching your cars ,you can of course invite people into your dedicated paddock to view your car up close if you like, all participants will be wearing wrist bands to identify them as owners and that way you can excess all areas . .Food will be available to buy on site at the two restaurant's and snack vans but you are welcome to bring in your own to be consumed alfresco or in you car if you wish . Will keep you updated as things transpire .

Should make this event if I survive the 3 days at SPA in April ill bring the 997 Cup car along .....as I promised my cousin at xmas... id take her round for a few laps !!!

Would have liked to support that as it a good run out and reasonably local but will be heading off on a road trip to south of France that weekend.

Would be exciting to be co-pilot. Thanks.

I'm not adverse to speed but I don't have deep pockets like you guys to afford track time and wear on tyres/brakes.

Melinda,

The co-pilot's seat is yours for a few laps at Knockhill. You're very welcome.

Smooth track drivers don't excessively wear tyres or brakes on track day laps. It's all about carrying speed through the corners and taking the line of least resistance.

You'll see how it works on the day.
