Hi Folks

We have an opportunity to share a Track Day with Porsche Club Ireland on Saturday 22 September at Kirkistown.

We had provisionally booked the track as an alternative date for our track day in June - rather than just cancel, Kirkistown are content to hold the date for us while we canvass interest from members in PCGB and PCI.

The cost of the day will be £100 (car and driver) which must be paid in advance - cheques (PCGB members only) to arrive with me no later than Wednesday 12 September.

(Porsche Club Ireland - as per arrangements from Neil)

Based on the number interested in each club we will take a decision as to go ahead or not (CHEQUES WILL NOT BE CASHED UNTIL WE HAVE DECIDED TO GO AHEAD WITH THE EVENT). If the Track Day does not take palce - all cheques will, of course, be returned to members.

The event will purely be a track day - so no parade lap.

(PCGB members should note that our scheduled drive to Omagh on 23 September will take place as planned.)

An early response would be appreciated - happy to take phone confirmation in the first instance - but payment must be received by the 12 Sept.

PCGB - Cheques (£100) payable to Porsche Club GB, along with drivers full name and vehicle model and registration number to:

Ken Mack, 7 Hammond Farm, Ballinderry Upper, Lisburn BT28 2RY.

As before, payment is non-refundable once Track Day is confirmed, unless in very exceptional circumstances.

Many thanks

Ken

Hi Geoff,

Yes, you can come along to watch.

Note - this track day is not 100% confirmed yet.....it very much depends on the numbers who register.

Thanks

Hi Folks,

I am delighted to confirm that we will be going ahead with our joint Track Day with Porsche Club Ireland this Saturday 22 September at Kirkistown. (PCGB Drive to Omagh will still take place on Sunday 23 Sept - details will be sent in separate email).

Thanks to everyone who has already pre-paid - without early support the event may not be going ahead.

Late entries will be accepted and drivers may pay on arrival - the cost of the day for PCGB is £100stg.

Some members have asked if non-members may attend. Consistent with PCI, members may bring guests and may take their car on the track at the non-member rate of £130stg.

I would stress that this event is not open to the public and members will be responsible for hosting their guests. Guests will only be admitted once the host member is present. PCGB/PCI spectators are free.

All Track Drivers are reminded that they must wear a crash helmet and long sleeve shirt/top when on the track.

You will be expected to present your driving licence at registration.

Please bring your PCGB membership card along.
