PCGB Festival 2005 Register Display

Thanks as ever to those of you who made your cars available for the 911 Turbo Register Display. We met our quota on the Sunday, and would have made it on the Monday as well, but in common with other Registers, we got raided for cars for the Porschestrasse display.
Cannot leave the Turbo Register Display theme without words of congratulation to Barry Smith and Phil Clark for not only reaching their target of 20 930SE's, but also for managing to park them in a way that wasn't remotely reminiscent of Tesco's car park!
All in all, a memorable and enjoyable event....an improvement on last years, and so much the better for the weather playing it's part to perfection.

Hi John
It was good to meet you, I had lots of interesting conversations with people wandering past the display.
The whole family had a fantastic time, and even the kids didn't get bored.
Even though I was there from 8am both days, there was still plenty that I didn't get time to see e.g. - technical display, chips away demo, wander round the pits etc.
2 days is not enough time what with parade laps, world record attempts, trying to keep dust off the car etc

I heard some rumours that next year might go back to a static event
Imho what better setting to hold the Porsche festival than at a race circuit?
If cost is the issue, is there not a cheaper circuit for hire?
