Was checking as I have Euro breakdown with Greenflag through my RBS Bank a/c. But they don't cover anything over 16 years old, my 550 is 16.5 years old. Arghhhh

It's a long way back to Glasgow on the other end of a tow rope [:D] I would have cover in place just in case

I've also got my Porsche warranty in place but not sure that it extends to European breakdown cover, so I've taken an 8 day AA European policy to be sure (£99) - never needed it before, but just to be sure . However I have full confidence in 'black betty'.

Full Euro cover from the AA was only £70 for me for the week of Lm. Covers everything gets you and the car home if anything happens. Best £70 you'll spend. Guarantees a trouble free trip, I know as long as I have cover I won't need it.
Oh and Have a fantastic trip guys.

Don , I owe you a beer ............. ive checked with Porsche and my warranty does extend to European cover. Called the AA this morning, spoke with someone is a far away land, and they cancelled my policy. Result ...... beer owed ! Thanks - B

996 is ready - gave it a wash and set the tyre pressures to manufactures recommendations - 2.5 bar front and 3.0 bar rear - seems high but what do i know. Got me some GB stickers but rely don't want put them on. Bought one of those European travel kits, have not opened it, will be take back for full refund if not needed.

looking forward to some German sausage.

Like your style, always keep a receipt!

i also think the pressures are too high, on cold tires it gets a bit lively!
I take 10% out of recommendatio 32F 40R
