I got my historic (pre-73) plate from a company via the internet just before the law came into force. I'm not sure if historic (silver on black) plates have to have the post-code at the bottom of the plate now too.

You might not have noticed, but the font has changed.
I got a new plate a few weeks ago. Despite having the car outside with the number plates on, with a broken front one, I still needed to show the V5 and proof of ID (which was my driving licence), before they would make a replacement for the front.
The details are then all written down and recorded.
Rgds, Stuart.
The Club stickers are still available, maybe Bert Gear can help with the factory logo' s.[

available form main dealers and are actually a lot cheaper than from most aftermarket suppliers.
it allways pays to check prices as Several aftermarket suppliers (Im not one of them) buy some of there parts from main dealers and sell on at a premium
