PC Hatfield's 911 project car information from David Richmond
The project car is plodding along. It is back from the sandblasting company
and we now know the extend of the body work required (which is quite a
lot)!
As a result, the project is in limbo until we find a bodyshop to carry out
the small bit of welding required and/or spray the body in the time frame
required. This will hopefully be decided upon this week so that we can get
back on track as soon as possible!
In the meantime, I have created an online blog for the project:
http://pchatfield911restoration.wordpress.com/
A part of the competition is for us to market the entire process of our
involvement in the project. As a result, I would be extremely grateful if
you would be able to send out a short note out to R21 members containing
the website of the blog. It is my hope that this would put us in a good
position with regards to generating chatter/obtaining feedback on our
ideas. Furthermore, I think that the members will find the posts
interesting and also I am sure will be keen to know that their views and
opinions (from the feedback we obtained via the questionnaire at the club
night) has been fed directly into the specification of the final design!
