After a sprited drive down to Goodwood at the weekend, I've finally decided to go and get my PASM checked. Everything I've read about PASM equipped Caymans suggests that the ride should be beautifully smooth in 'normal' mode, but mine is fidgety and extremely firm with not much noticeable difference when switching to 'sport' mode. Certainly a normally suspended Cayman S that I drove at Millbrook felt softer to me.
My OPC tell me that any fault should show up as a warning on the dash, or a diagnostic fault. No warning lights, but I'm taking it in for a check over on Saturday. Hopefully I'll get to do a back to back comparison with a PASM equipped demonstrator. I'll report back then...
