Unsure if anyone has had this before but Panamera does not seem to like stop start driving. Seems to have developed a complete dislike for stop start which does not agree with the PDK. Regardless of the environmental advantages the stop / start feature is starting to grate a little. What the point of this feature on such a vehicle? Reckon you should be able to default OFF all the time rather than do it everytime you start the engine.

having got used to this feature i quite like it for my every day driving but, if i have to go into a town or get stuck in slow motorway traffic then i agree it does become very annoying so i switch it off along with the parking sensors which are equally as annoying in town.
it is quite difficult to creep in a Panamera both forward or Backward, it tends to lurch. which is very annoying especially as i use mine for towing. so trying to hook it up to the trailer can be fun. [

the driving instructors at silverstone suggested i used it in manual mode to make it start off in 1st gear...but, thats not an option backwards [:-].

I'm guessing that could be done, some functions can be user set via the PCM, windows, door locking etc so check the manual, otherwise ask your PCReckon you should be able to default OFF all the time rather than do it everytime you start the engine.
