Panamera 970.2 Eberspacher diesel heater

Hi to this quiet corner of the Club. So I own a 2014 Panamera, which has a sticker on the drivers door B pillar that states Eberpacher diesel heater.

My new to me vehicle has no option of aux heater where its supposed to be in the cluster menu, under the vehicle menu option🤔.

Anyone know where the control unit ecu is located for me to check all good?

Or know of a vin decoder to officially see if I have one installed officially?

Any help appreciated.
 
Welcome and thanks for the post. Quiet is good if it means our cars are being relatively trouble free [sm=spanner1.gif]

I suspect it doesn't have a pre-heater as they are generally only fitted to cars originally sold in colder climes such as in Sweden or N America / Canada.

I have seen issues similar to yours on the Macan and Cayenne Forums where mention of the heater is made in the drivers manual despite no heater being fitted. What does your manual say?

Finally, I am meeting up with a member who has a 2015 Diesel and I'll have a look on his B pillar and under the lid so see if he has a similar setup.
