Paint codes...again!

(Yes I know about previous posts, but they didn't really help so....)

Okay.......so I go to my local Halfords, to have a couple of spray cans mixed up for various little jobs....
Code number LM1V as per paint codes from this Forum and also from the Glasurite website....
And nothing listed!!
I believe the colour is actually known as Light Bronze Metallic.
Any ideas

LM1V is, indeed, Light Bronze Metallic. It was a special order colour, but a standard Porsche one.

Halfords cater for the mass market cars so unlikely to have pre mixed Porsche paint on the shelf. They don't even have Alpine White or Guards Red!!!

My suggestion is to order your paint code from http://auto-paint.co.uk/carpaint/ they are recommended from many owners on here for quality paint matched cans and quick delivery.

Agree with [8|] - auto-paint - good matches, fast and reliable to resolve issues when I have had (one) problem with delivery.

Question - has any one here used Dr. ColorChip? If this stuff works as well as their claims - it seems like a reasonable way to go with little effort. I wonder tho about filling nicks, color match and durability. Any experience?

I ordered paint from Autopaint (St Helens) yesterday (Friday) Prices very good, website ordering easy.......and it all arrived this morning (Saturday"!!!!!!!!)
Brilliant service, great recommend........................not all I've got to do is prepare and paint!!
