Not long bought the D reg 2.5L 944 , I was craving another S2 again ! I had a browse on ebay an there was a local S2 for the right money , with a few extra hop up pats fitted ! So I ended up buying it ! The body work needs attention more or less all over , but there has been no expense spared on the servicing and maintenance of the S2 , last bill from Hartech was for £3700 ! 8000miles ago .
There is some serious money spent on these Porsche's . The owner was going to turn it into a track car and had bought a brand new OMP suede steering wheel for £155 that he left in will the deal and I negotiated a good deal for a Corbeau Sprint bucket seat with special mounts.
It has a Jannspeed back back and a Pro Max chip fitted , goes really well :)
I need to sell my D Reg 2.5L 944 Auto as the wife is going Nuts ! She said how many Porsche's do you need before you are happy ! Well a man just can't have enough Porsche's in his life ;)

I make do with just the two.

Mind you I do have the '64 Cooper S. :)

I am not bragging in anyway ! Currently I own the two 944's a Golf V5 every day driver and a really nice late MK1 Golf GTi Cabriolet I am in the process of doing it up , they all have tax and M.O.T ! Must be mid life crisis !
I will try and up load some pic's , for some strange reason it will not copy and paste on my lap top ?

I will have to sell the 944 2.5L D reg Auto mint condition for year time warped ! I need the space and I woun't use them all.

You have two??

(Nice Mini BTW. In fact, it's more than nice - it's lovely. Do you have any more photos?)

Oli.

Friend has a original Cooper S he bought it new it has very low miles, tartan red with a black roof, it is timewarp non restored and constantly gets offers to buy it from him for very strong money.

Yes the Mini's have gone silly money, the MK I's like mine are gone ballistic, I bought mine 10 years ago, post a total bare metal restoration for £6K it's now worth about 5 times that. I've done a lot of Classic Rally with it so it's got a competition heritage as well.

On the Porsche front Oli, I've got the 944 you've seen, and the 993 road car, I don't think I'll get anymore past SWMBO. But it's too late to trade her in, it would take me years to train a replacement. [:D]
