Oil Pressure Relief Valve

That's very kind of you Al thanks. I will give you a bell on Tuesday or Wednesday about the oil cooler. I would say enjoy your Bank Holiday but you too work on the Railway, which has no concept of the term Bank Holiday [:D]

Just reading through Clarke's and it mentions using special tool 9215 to align the oil cooler housing prior to installation of the housing proper and then the relief valve. It states that this to prevent the relief valve from binding. My question is - is this really necessary in other's experience and is there another method that can be used other than the special tool if it is necessary?

Don't know what bank holidays are, normal day of work for me tomorrow. At least it is a 9.30 am start though, just miss all the BSB races on the telly instead! Alasdair

Yep no rest day for me tomorrow!! What's your chariot tomorrow then? One of EMD's finest lol or an English Electric smoke machine?
