Which Oil level should I go by please

My Dipstick shows as on the mark
Oil level meter shows it is over filled
Feel it is safer to go by the meter as It also looks over filled

My personal opinion would be to trust the dipstick over the electronic meter readout. John.
 
Like John I'd be more inclined to trust the dipstick. The meter relies upon the the correct operation and calibration of an electrical/electronic system.

Obviously, just make sure that you're on level ground when taking the measurement.
