Oil cooler fitted !

Anyhow, 13row in-line oil cooler fitted in series with the existing 951 cooler. Bottom mount = aluminium u cross section rail with rubber m6 bobbins, top mounts, rubber bobbins and m6 threaded rod fitting into existing A/C matrix mounts.

I've run it up in the garage, all OK, just need to road test it !

Hopefully this should keep the oil below 100C whilst at the ring in July

I take it you ran the engine until the oil thermostat opened, then shut it down, let it cool down and then refill it with oil?

For what it's worth, when I installed a similar oil cooler the level on the dipstick drop from the max to the lowest value until it was filled.
