Whilst waiting at the dentist, opened today's Eastern Daily Press to find an advert officially pre-announcing the Norwich Porsche Centre. Building work to start May, opening in December. Advertising for all staff. Going to be owned by one of East Anglia's most entrepreneurial companies. As the contact point for employee interest was at gmdacre.com, I think we know who that is. Anybody else spot a Christmas party opportunity?

That is good news.
Still I do wonder if it will take them some time to become familiar with the cars, common faults and how to address them ? Can't see how you recruit a complete fully fledged team overnight ?! Plus the initial thrill of driving a Porsche (someone else's Porsche) in anger, will still be a new experience for their new recruits.

Recruit from other OPCs etc rather than someone wanting to move up from the local Daewoo dealership.[

Mr Graham Dacre - Owner of the Lind Automotive Group (until he sold it for well over £100m last year but kept a few Porsche dealerships - well, wouldn't you?), committed Christian, philantropist (does quite a bit for Norwich and Norfolk, particularly youth projects) and all round tough nut/good guy.
Seems he couldn't resist another dealership nearer to home. If you had the cash and were bored with golf every day, what a better way to while away your semi-retirement! [
