Off Topic - Route to Germany

Hi Chaps,

Sort of an off topic...

I am pondering a road trip in the Porker to Cologne during World Cup.. So sort of a driving break and hopefully get to see Eng v Sweden... if I fork out for tickets....

I was hoping to take as much of the back road route and avoid boring motorways, so some scenic stuff to keep me and "her" happy... but good driving roads for me :))

Anyone ever driven this route or similiar, I would appreciate any general advise, regarding speed, etc..... where to go for both driving and views....

From London to France, maybe go via Northern France via Brus etc....
