Whilst we still have reasonable weather new member Geoffrey Stewart has organised a drive and lunch in West Lancashire, an area we haven’t explored in detail before. This will be starting from the Mill at St Catherines, Bamber Bridge as below:-

Sunday 8th October Cars & Coffee – The Mill at St Catherines, Lostock Hall, Bamber Bridge. This may be followed by a drive into West Lancashire, leaving The Mill at 11.00.

There is also the monthly Cars & Coffee event taking place that morning, so if you want to have time to view the sports & classic cars there, and want breakfast, please book this from 9.00 onwards. Sunday 15th October – Visit to The Spitfire Museum, Blackpool. Numbers are limited by the venue and pre-booking and pre-payment direct to the venue is essential

Looking further ahead is anyone interested in an informal Christmas Lunch, say between Christmas and New Year. Please let me know ASAP and I will see what is available.

Please also let me know what other events you would like organising for 2024, and if you would like to organise any drives & lunches etc. yourself. Geoffrey Stewart is actually working on a WOTY for 2024.
