Nurburgring 24HR Rennen..........

What? Not one of you going to the greatest Porsche race on the planet??? I don't believe it! Lots of 944's and 968's will be racing in the Classic race on the Thursday and Friday afternoon's [8D][8D][8D]. Believe me this event is insane! Then on the Saturday through to Sunday afternoon is the main 24hr race proper, with all the TOP Porsche team's competeing including everyone's favourite's Manthey Motors [;)][8D]. But, i'm forgetting, just before the main event starts is a round of the Carrera Cup. What a weekend! Five day's in all and i can't wait! Going in the Turbo too.....[8D][8D]!!

Its on my to do list, but got too much on this year already, I was more likely to do the Nurburgring 24hr than the standard Le Mans 24 but with Porsche returning to Le Mans for 2014 with an LMP1 entry this may have changed, being the most successful Le Mans marque of all time it will be an opportunity hard to miss.

Iv'e got the apartment from Thursday to Wednesday if i want it but, how come it's starting on the Sunday this year? It always starts on the Saturday....always [>:]. Are you sure about that?
 
Yes because of a Bank Holiday on the Monday, check on the NBR 24 website, it makes it clear with a time schedule.

I'm looking for accommodation for 3 persons Sat-Mon Inclusive if anyone can help. I ve tried all the usual German Hotels but no good I'm afaid.
 
Indeed, the fun starts on Friday, with the main race starting 5pm Sunday

Its on my long term to do list.... but from the other side of the fence.

I am still in my 30s so have plenty of time to build up the experience, money etc. to eventually make it happen.
 
Yep, you're right, totaly. It is because of some pentecost Bank Holiday or whatever [8|]. Never mind, we're still leaving on Thursday anyway, only now we get another days holiday.........Result![8D][:D]
