Hi Folks,
I hope all is well. I have a MY24 Macan GTS, a rather lovely machine that I'm enjoying immensely. I've previously owned a Macan S and a 991.2 Carrera 4 and I always fully abide by the Porsche Warranty.
I was researching winter tyres recently and was still under the impression I needed to procure N rated rubber to keep the warranty valid. However to my surprise I came across this thread on Pistonheads:
A snip from the thread:

Dear All,
I am back in Porsche ownership after a break! (1 Cayman and 3 911s).
Now I'm the proud owner of a 2012 Panamera GTS. I am looking to extend the warranty, two more years are possible.
I was worried that the car does not have N rated tyres as in the past I remember that this would invalidate the warranty.
However I was told by Porsche Guildford that N rated tyres are now "only recommended" but not mandatory. This is a change made by Porsche. As long as the tyres are the right size and inflated correctly then they are fine to be used.
This is a real improvement in the coverage.
Just thought I'd let you all know that piece of info.
Best
Jack"
Does anyone know if this is correct?
I was considering All Seasons - Pirelli Scorpion Verde. I believe there are no All Seasons that are N rated. To be clear I already have one vehicle with a set of winters and I'm fully aware of the benefits, and store the summer wheels in the garage. We have another vehicle with All Seasons too and these have been excellent recently. Garage space is at a premium so don't have space for another set of large wheels and of course would never compromise the Porsche Warranty.
I'd be interested to hear other people's knowledge and views on this before I contact the OPC.
All the best
Dave.
