No side repeaters

My side repeaters don't work,I have tested the bulbs and the rest work on the stalk and hazard switch.
Before I start studying wiring diagrams is there a likely or known cause.

Did you test the 2 wires down at the repeaters themselves...? Is there juice on them...?

I have wiggled the o/s repeater and it came on,so I'm guessing the bulb holders are a bit dodgy.
As the bulb in there is orange(I'm guessing standard is clear)I'm wondering if there has been aftermarket ones fitted at some point.
I can't seem to get the n/s one away from the wing,so might have to go in from behind the wheel arch.
Should be an easyish fix though
