Evening all. I’m picking up a late 2004 C4S Cabriolet, manual tomorrow. I’ve trawled the socials etc for hint and tips and I think I’ve done the due diligence.
i have raised a case with Porsche UK to get any OPC history, spec and certificate of conformity. I’ve even bought a 2004 price list off of ebay.

History is good, car drove and presented well and buying from specialist. Looking forward to the journey, will be very different to my 2020 992 C2S - but I want a modern classic to play with and I think this is it.

Love it. It’s raw, a Few rattles and squeaks but glorious. Got some maintenance jobs to do and plan to drive it until the salt spreaders get going.

Pleased to hear it. Moved to a c4s coupe from another much more modern cab (mb) and really enjoy it, even with the rattles. A very underrated driving
tool

Hi Laurence
Many congratulations on your purchase, I’m sure it you will give you a lot of enjoyment going forward. The best advise I can give you as you have a cab, is to have a look at the drains as these are notorious for getting blocked at their outlets, It’s a very easy job they are located under the rear wheel liners to the front of the wheel arch, as they are never inspected on a normal service they are very easily blocked. If unsure a quick Google should help you identify the location if unsure.
Enjoy the ride and if you have any issues or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Kind regards.
Andy
