New MOT certificate

Have you seen the ridiculous new MOT form that an 8 year old with photoshop could falsify in 10 minutes.

Looks like we will all have to do pre sale MOT verifications now

Cost savings everywhere. Next they will be issuing MOTs on the back of old fag packets.

Trouble is you need more info than just the reg number.

But if you were checking a car that you hoped to buy you would have the information!

Maybe, but plenty of people don't have or want access to the Internet.
 
Is there still a freephone number on the certificate? You should still be able to check it from a phone box...
 
It was a low-tech alternative, following on from James' post about some people not having t'internet - a call box has to be as low tech as you can get, for the luddites out there.
