We need pictures!! Especially on track!
My wife is Italian (from Milan). We often drive down there for family visits. I know what driving is like in the south of Italy - you must have great skill and nerves of steel!!
cordiali saluti,
Neil.

It takes a lot for an Italian to express love for a Porsche! You are a brave man.

Recent Trip to Italy
Are you like us when visiting a foreign country? We take note of what's going in that country with the local motorist in mind. Well on a recent trip to Italy (Sorrento) we observed the following:-
1 We spotted in equal number the Old Fiat 500 as we did the New Fiat 500 replacement.
2 We only saw two cars that did not have a scratch or dent "" both these cars were new and were in a showroom (perhaps a veiled warning if you are thinking of touring Italy)
3 What a patriotic lot the Italians are. All the Police cars we spotted were Italian, either Alfa Romeo, Fiat, even the odd Lancia "" and some were twenty years old!
4 However, just to prove the Italians have got good taste the Porsche cars spotted outnumbered the Ferrari's by Four to One.
5 We also saw a Double Decker bus! So if on retirement Gary Sorrell you fancy a bus mans holiday apply at the Sorrento Bus Office and ask for Signor Blakey!
Good to hear from you - keep spreading the word[
Upside: dogs allowed everywhere
Downside: mad mad overtaking manoeuvres!
Our route this year....Turin. Mondovi. Alba. Milan. Parma. Maranello. Maggiore. Orta. Domodosola. And left via the Simplon Furka Grimsel passes. Sure was warm, and stormy, this year!
