Please have a look at the new forum, there may be some work we need to do to correct bugs, if you see any please let us know.

I quite like the new look, larger images can be displayed too which is great news :)

Thank you Andy. We are noticing a lot of text formatting is visible, (fonts, spacing etc.) is that something that will be addressed at your end or do we need to correct it locally? In reality very little in the way of problems and an improvement in my opinion.

When I go to anything in the General Section it seems to take me to my profile page, I assume this will be rectified in due course and so not a problem.

I’ve been notified that the Macan Technical section seems to have disappeared - presume it’ll reappear in due course.
Thanks

Hi Andy, the PMs page is nice and easy to use, is there a plan to migrate earlier PMs to this new page structure as I cannot see any historical messages. I have updated the R7 guide for PMs and communication preferences, Link, being able to display multiple images is a godsend, many thanks (y)(y)(y)

Hi Andy.
I've sent you an email with a few issues with the 996 sub forum and also it states I have not sufficent priveleges to post on the 996 section and others.
Kind regards Andy

Thanks again, I can confirm I am seeing the historical messages.

We did a test message to four other R7 coordinators which they have received, just for your information, they did not get an email notification of a "new PM" as used to happen in the past.

I have had a look through settings but so far that has eluded me.

A PM from someone used to automatically trigger a message that you had received a PM, otherwise it's not a place I frequently look at.

I will keep searching, not a big issue in reality but thought it worth flagging up.

Peter/Andy,

PMs are available from the Club’s main website via the drop-down menus: Community - Forum - Forum - Private messages.

A bit convoluted … no change there then!😉

Jeff

It's better than I remember the old system being.

To be honest it's not something we use a lot, often we don't know who is who with many forum names

Peter. Go to "Forum settings" You'll then see email options. The 3rd one is for receiving an email when a new conversation (pm) is received. See photo

Thank you Alan, it took me a few minutes to work this one out. Not sure why it's no longer sends emails automatically.
