Hello All
I have been asked by our Register Secretary Darren to let you all know that I have been appointed as the Assistant Reg Sec for 911 SC's and to give a brief background on myself.
Earlier this year I retired from the post of Regional Organiser for Lancashire & Cumbria, and prior to that as RO for Dorset & Somerset, having set up both of those regions from scratch. 13 years as an RO in total! Also, I have just completed 5 years on the board as Regional Director, with the additional responsibility for the clubs IT. I stepped down from the board at the last AGM. I am currently the clubs web site administrator and also one of 3 administrators for this forum, Jeff being the boss man!
I am not sure exactly what I will be doing as the Assistant Reg Sec, but Darren and I will be getting our heads together at Eynsham to work things out, but I am pleased to be able to help out in whatever way I can.
You may well have seen my postings elsewhere on the forum about my current car is a 1982 911SC Sport with just 36K genuine miles and totally original in everyway. It's a real gem and can be seen on the Register stand at Eynsham at the national event. I look forward to meeting you there, but in the meantime, if I can be of any assistance, please email me.
Regards,
Peter
