my handbrake has just blowup and ain't going backwards

ok its another hurdle I have to jump in my 944
oil sender,all seals,blablabla...

And now I had a knocking noise from the rear so I investigated only to removed the rear drivers side disc to be attacked by a pile of mushed up brake parts, look more like the ingriediants of a fish stew than brakes!!

Were the he'll does it all go and how does the top of the handbrake pads fit together

Were can I get a picture of how it should be??
oh by the way both sides are the same

I just love this car

Problems are few but fun factor plenty
 
Clarks garage has a full rundown on handbrake shoes, IIRC. Or, there are detailed pictures on the Porsche technical site.

I had to do mine twice after it was messed up by a so-called specialist, but it's only a drum-brake set up in minature. [:)]
