My 944 pulleys

Some pulleys I made for my 944. can't wait to get them on.

after removing mine, I found some of the plastic pulleys were very worn... I have had these hard anodized,. and they wont wear like the standard ones,. plus I made the cam pulley adjustable for fine tuning. still to finish off the rest...
Also made the power steering pulley the multi vee type as the belts are easier to replace plus, meant i could get the crank pulley lighter

They look great, I think you should definitely make a run of 20 or so of these just for us all to make sure they work properly ;)

I've seen Chris' work in the flesh and it really is very good. Love the idea of using a multi ribbed belt for the power steering too.

as always Chris, your work is amazing! what else have you done to the 944? I sent you a message on scoobynet ages ago.

I can do a group buy no probs , I have made all the tensioner pulleys as well so will post pics of them too

If we can get 10 parties interested that would be good . Will work on some prices

ORIGINAL: colin944

If they fit on an S2 then I'll take a set as long as they are not mega £sssssss.

The 8v crank and cam pulley wont work on a 16v engine, different diameters.

"The 8v crank and cam pulley wont work on a 16v engine, different diameters"

Oh well never mind.................................

beautiful though Chris

Nearly found out the hard way, took two revolutions of the engine (by hand) IIRC for the valves to hit the pistons.

Finished off the tensioner pulleys now ,.

So here are the prices. If we can get 10 takers. These are based on my 944 non turbo.

If the pulleys are simular for other models we can include them

So, in the kit is

Retail prices that will go on our site next week inc vat

Adjustable veriner pulley £150
Muti vee crank pulley with bolted on tooth pulley £180
muti rib p/s pulley £54
alternator pulley £35
5 x tensioner pulleys £210

Total £629 inc vat

Total price with g/b discount.. £400 inc vat. That is just over 35% discount.

We can offer these in any colour, but the tooth part is always hard anodized.

I can do the pulleys on there own, they would work out about 5% more expensive

let me know what you think

cheers chris
