As the number of vehicles road worthy I have increases, so it makes more sense to look at a multi-car policy. Likewise, I always have paid out to the RAC, and I am guessing I can get some breakdown cover bundled in... anyone any experience of this type of thing? Good or bad?

I have all my classic cars on a policy with Hagerty Insurance. All the cars hav agreed values and agreed mileage usage.
It saves me loads having them all on one policy.
I am with RAC which covers me rather than my car, so I am covered even if I am a passenger in someone else's car. I think this is the norm for their cover?

Tref we have the Rangie, Panda and 968 on a multi-car with Admiral. Saves me a fortune as its only about 100 quid more than it was costing for the 968 alone and none are limited to low miles. I also have business use on the first 2 cars. ISTR its costing me about 500 quid a year.
Sounds good guys... yep, when it was an old, cheap 944, 35k miles including business, and one shiny agreed value, limited mileage etc, well, I couldn't get a sensible policy to cover both of them... not including the kind of cover I wanted... sounds like things have improved and time to look at it again... Do you folks end up renogotiating every year? For may main car my premium has more than doubled for this years renewal, yet a quick look at competitor's prices and it is pretty much the same as last year - does the same thing apply when looking at multi-car (the first year is cheap, but expect to have to shop around each year) the reason I ask is it is bad enough trying to compare apples with apples for one car, never mind several... I think I am going to have to write a list of demands and see who can come up with the best price on those criteria - unless you have any better suggestions?
