hiya all, my old girl flew through her mot yesterday with only 2 bulbs needed [numberplate light and pass indicator] and one advisory,1st time i have recieved an advisory [slight play in front off wheel bearing]which i will have attended to at next service, she is getting up near 168,000 and still driving so very well, i dont think i could ever let her go, the 944l really seems to get under your skin and never fails to bring a big smile, cheers jason p

You've got to wonder what other car designed in the Seventies, and built in the Eighties, would manage the same? Certainly not anything built in Britain! [&:]

great stuff jason. Have to agree...such a solidly built car. S2's seem a bargain at the moment.....even the ltd edt SE's are now under £5k

My s2 passed it's MOT last week. No issues and no advisories. It's now clocked over 169k and feels really really good (perhaps the wad of money I threw at it last year has helped! [
There's a SE in Edinburgh up for sale for £4995. I went to see it last September and turned down the opportunity to buy it for £3500 - for a variety of reasons. The current owner (who did buy it) has however spent a lot of money bringing it up to scratch in the last year I understand.

Mine passed in June at around 215,000 miles, I did change the ARB bushes and a light bulb beforehand though!
