Wednesday 20th August – Monthly Meeting – Garstang Golf Club from 19.30. We will be talking about future events and will also have a presentation form the Foxton Centre in Preston, whom we support. Please bring along any old, but clean socks, underwear etc, or toiletries, which will be allocated to the homeless in Preston. We already have a couple of large bags for them to take back.

Thursday 21st August – Car & Coffee – Bridge House Farm Tea Rooms, Wray, between Lancaster and Kirkby Lonsdale from 14.00 until dusk. There are often several hundred sports and classic cars attending. Excellent hog roast available. Early attendees often leave early to make room for those that arrive after work.

31st August Drive & Lunch.
- Cars and Coffee breakfast event at the tearooms in Wray followed by a run through the Yorkshire Dales of just over two hours, returning to Wray for lunch. The drive goes from Wray to Kirkby Lonsdale then up to Sedbergh, then through Garsdale to Hawes, down to Ribblehead then to Settle and Bentham and back to Wray. These are some of the best roads in the area and should be a lot of fun - very scenic too. Breakfast at 9am and going on the run around 11am

If you’d like to come for breakfast, the run and lunch or even just one or two of those, please contact Geoffrey at geoffrey6@mac.com.
