11th February - The Mill + Geoffrey’s Drive
This Sunday is the monthly Cars & Coffee at the Milll at St Catherines, Lostock Hall. If you want breakfast you need to pre-book at www.themillatstcatherinespark.co.uk After breakfast there will be a run organised by Geoffrey Stewart, leaving The Mill at 11am, skirting around the west side of the Forest of Bowland and finishing in Wray for lunch.
21st February Monthly Meeting – Auction Night
We have a fantastic selection of items for Judy’s Auction, including redundant Club Shop items including PCGB Jackets, sweatshirts, T-Shirts, gillets etc. In addition, we have Porsche prints, ladies scarves, and hopefully some items from a local Porsche Centre, as well as an independent. In addition, some members have also donated items, including a golf bag. If you have any items such as unwanted Christmas gifts, please bring them along. We do not have a card reader so all items must be cash sales. The monies raised will be reserved for Region 18 activities, such as refreshments at shows and events as well as prizes etc.
31st March – Easter Sunday Sports & Classic Car Show – Shackletons Garden Centre, Chatburn. To be able to enter you will need to pre-book. If you haven’t pre-booked you will have to park on the roads in the local area. Please let me know ASAP if you are interested in attending and let me have your car details and registration number. WOTY 17-19th May.
Geoffrey Stewart is arranging a weekend away in the Scottish Borders around Kelso. He is just researching suitable hotels and he has some drives planned. Please let me know ASAP ( R18@porscheclubgb.com)if you are interested, to help Geoffrey with hotel arrangements. The idea is to travel up on the Friday afternoon/evening for dinner, a full days drive on Saturday and to travel back on Sunday, either direct down the M6 or a scenic route.
