Monthly meeting 17th Decemebr - Garstang Golf Club

Hi All

Just a reminder about the next monthly meeting on 17th December at Garstang Golf Club when we will be having a festive quiz and noggin and natter.

As usual we start at 20.00 hours with sandwiches at 21.15 hours. Sue will be selling tickets for the mega hamper raffle which will be drawn at the Pre- Christmas lunch on 21st December. Sue will also be selling tickets for the Annual Dinner Dance to be held on 31st January at Farington Lodge, Leyland.

I now have the first quarter 2009 speakers arranged, and we will be having our usual "˜New Members Night' on Wednesday 21st January where we will be having a talk about the restoration of the Gondola Steam Yacht on Ullswater. The 2009 events calendar is now well filled with events and I will be circulating this early in the New Year.

For those of you who can't make the meeting on 17th December, may I wish you all, on behalf of all the committee a Happy Christmas and New Year.

Hi All,

Just a reminder that it is not too late to contribute items for the Christmas Hamper as it will not be put together until after the meeting. The draw will take place at the pre-Christmas lunch. Besides the hamper we hope to have 5 or 6 other really nice prizes, but for that we need the generosity of our members.
 
Breaking with tradition I have remembered its club night tonight! [:D]
