Mike - congratulations, ..... again!

I received an email yesterday from the club stating that The David Gillhooly Trophy (for Register of the Year) has been awarded (again) to Mike Allen for the
Macan Register.

Well done Mike, almost enough to make me buy another Macan.

You seem to be pretty active with lots going on and I know how much time it takes to organise events.
From what you've said in the past you seem to get a good turnout to events which makes the effort worthwhile.
Again congrats. ??

 
Congratulations Mike on another award. You are certainly one of the RS’s who we look up to when trying to create our own programmes. Many thanks for some good advice to me as a newbie this year.

Thanks to all those who have posted here, emailed and sent kind messages to me on being awarded Register of the Year 2022.
As has been already mentioned, it is also an acknowledgment of the involvement of many unsung heroes who I'm fortunate to have harnessed the services of, ( you know who you are) as I try to delegate as much as I can, to spread the load of providing a varied programme of successful events throughout the year.
Credit must also go to the members themselves who are enthusiastic in their support for our endeavours and add to the general success of the register.
Finally, this is just as much an award for my wife Michele, without whom I would be at a complete loss. My scribbled notes left in a pile of papers near the computer, miraculously end up typed into a
Porsche Post article, proof read and ready to meet the monthly submission deadline. And then there's the typing up of the WOTY Roadbooks and all the rest........ - Big thanks Michele!
 
Congratulations Mike, let's hope your multiple awards show how it can be done and used as a template for other Registers.
