Michelin PS2 or PS3?

I'm just buying a new set of boots and I've noticed a "new" tyre on the Michelin web site "Pilot Sport 3" - but the PS2 is still there and the blurb for each is different as if the 2 and 3 will run in parallel.

Anyone any knowledge on this?

Also - what is the latest N number for PS2 ? (I have N3s on car right now but I remember a comment on here a while ago about N4s being introduced???)
