May Monthly Run Update.

Evening / Morning all

Just a quick update, I've postponed the proposed run Sunday the 26th partly because the venue we planned to start from were struggling to accommodate on a Bank Holiday Weekend (I'll be honest I didn't think of the Bank Holiday when the end of month runs were proposed), and secondly todays weather forecast is very poor. Several people from the south of the region have contacted me to warn of the weather so looking ahead we'll bump the run till next Sunday 2nd June (where the early forecast is very good).

There will be a formal mailchimp hopefully coming out on Tuesday where registration would be appreciated to gauge numbers. The run will still be in the south of the region starting from Strikes Garden Centre (TS9 5HJ). We'll be meeting from 9.30am with a leave time of 10.30am (garden centre opens at 10 if anyone wants a quick coffee or pre drive bathroom break).

Full route will be issued on the day but we'll be heading towards the coast after a run through the hills (estimated around 100 mile run over approx. 3 hours, lunch stop on route because who doesn't want chips or something after being at the coast), Depending on how we run for time, there is also a smallish car show on near Hartlepool if anyone fancies a look (full disclosure it's Ā£5 per car to get in to that).

Anyone needs anything before then, don't hesitate to call or text me (07740363084)

I'm up for the 2nd June too Dave......although I'm still not getting any alerts on PCGB website even thought I've clicked the Watch / Unwatch button.....which I have to say is starting to annoy me šŸ˜ ......is there any chance this might be fixed and are others experiencing the same fault???

I'd already guessed the the run on the 26th wasn't happening, so we had a mini run out with Steve and Shirl to the classic car show at Thorpe Perrow Arboretum. It was a bit damp, but it didn't spoil our day.

Unfortunately we are away at Simply Porsche at Beaulieu on the 2nd, otherwise we would have been up for the drive.

Have a Great Day in the South of the region.

Regards

Mike, Barbara & TJ
