Making the indicators louder?

Lets face it, the indicators are too quiet on Porsches.
If you have the roof down you can' t hear the clicking, and if the sun is in the wrong direction, you can' t see the repeater light on the dash!

So has anyone come up with a way of making the sound a little more prominent?
(To save the embarrasment of driving down the M1 for 100 miles with the left indicator on... Not to mention the danger if someone believes it!)

hi handbag man! (sorry couldn' t resist!)
if the sun is in your eyes try..

a)sunglasses

b)driving backwards

c)putting roof up. too noisy on the motorway anyway.

d)wear a basball cap

e)don' t use indicators..no one eles seems to

If the indicators are too quiet...

a)turn hearing aid up

b)check battries in hearing aid

c)turn Hawkwind down

You need 2 metres of good quality 30 amp cable. Solder one end to the bulb holder for your front indicator, solder the other to your horn.

This may be a bit over the top [8D]

Oh come on - I expected some silly replies, but...

Am I the only one that thinks the (occasional) times that the indicators get " forgotten" (thanks John!) could prove a danger?

All the Porsches I have had have had stupidly quiet indicators. On a convertible (with wind noise etc) this is not a good policy...

The problem is far worse with the S. The white dials make the indicator lamps very difficult to see in bright conditions with the top down. This is the only remaining design flaw now that the awful rear window has been replaced. C' mon Porsche, you are still one step away from having a completely perfect product. [8|]

I like it quiet, its subtle, understated, minimalist!
