Made a big mistake D'OH!!!!

I decided to put a new battery in my cab today, so I took the old one out and then went to get a new one. Here comes the mistake , I shut the boot lid!!!

Now does any one have a good idea how I should open it again!!!!!!

If you have some jump leads then there is an emergency power point under the bonnet. It's in front of the steering wheel and behind the firewall, normally has a blue plastic cap on top of it.

Connect the positive to this point and the negative to the chassis and you will have power to work the boot release button.

No one is chuckling at your misfortune [;)]
 
I've sorted it now, but I will not do that again!!!!

My solution involved a pole with a hook and a lot of swearing[:mad:]. I wish I had waited for your replies it would have made my life alot easier.
