I've just had a conversation with my local trusted tyre dealer regarding the replacement of the rear tyres on my 25,000 mile 2020 Macan S, Michelin Latitude Sport 3 255/50R19 103Y NO (Porsche), as they are down to 3mm and will need changing soon. I was informed that this specification and size are difficult to get at present and this may be a sign that Michelin may be about to discontinue them for a newer specification. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue?
The front will need changing before the winter and so I may have to have all four changed to avoid having different makes front and rear.
Apparently the equivalent Pirelli's are easily available and are similarly priced and could be cheaper given the PCGB discount/cashback.
Has anyone else experienced a similar issue?

In a word CJ, no. However, I have seen it reported that there are changes afoot to the "N" rating scheme with model specific ratings being introduced so tyres will be, say, C0 for a Cayenne and M0 for a Macan. That could have a bearing on it.
