Sure this has been debated, however a different slant.

Looking into buying a Macan Turbo with PASM but not Air Suspension.

A Is Air Suspension a must Have?

B.I will be transporting my father who is a relatively mobile 97 years young. Can I lower this Macan sufficiently with the PASM or do I really need the Air Suspension for him to get in easier?

Thank You.

Hopefully someone with a knowledge of the Macan will pitch-in here but I think you’re going to need air suspension to be able to adjust ride height Des. PASM with steel springs won’t give you that option; it only adjusts the damper setting.

Steel sprung Macans do not come with ride height adjustment, but have superior roadholding IMHO.

Consider that the passenger seat can be lowered quite a lot to facilitate access and exit and the seat position itself can be memorised and is therefore programmable to provide its lowest setting, then revert to normal height, making it a simple 2 button operation. 👍🏼

Clive
