Useful Carwow review here:-

Seems to be heading in the right direction with a 'range' of 380 miles for the 4.
Do you remember when the aerodynamic Audi 100 in the early '80's came out with a cd of 3.0? That seemed unbelievable then, now this SUV is 2.5, or 2.3 for the Tesla.
I think it's a good looking vehicle, though I'll stick with the Cayenne atm.

Hi -

Looks very nice with a good range.

Do we have any idea when it will be in PC's for viewing in the 'flesh'.

Regards,

Randolph

If it's driven to exploit the available performance it will never drive the range quoted because it would need to be achieving an average of well over 3 miles/kWh. My prediction. is a real world range averaging 250 to 275 miles in the summer and about 25% to 30% lower in the cold months. Of course if driven gently with no aircon, lights, heated seats or wipers switched on and no luggage or passengers then it will go further.
If a driving range of 350 miles without having to compromise on driving style could be achieved then it's on a par with the Macan GTS however on a touring drive it would be let down by the lack of charging infrastructure everywhere except on major trunk routes.

Just taken delivery of what may become my legacy ICE car - a high-specced Macan S. Not going electric any time soon. Running them is no longer cheaper, they couldn't even build 6 slow chargers per motorway service station, big insurance costs, fire risk, battery crash damage and the car is scrap, no secondhand market, UK electricity capacity will not be able to cope - offshore wind auction failed, nuclear in UK takes 25+ years to build, and so it goes...
I don't want a battery GT2 either.
Read my column in the Citroen Car Club magazine.
