I think is was in the 994 Forum that you were asking who had the lowest miles 944 - well just found this:-

Not an unrealistic price, I think. I see that the drivers bolster has collapsed and that the fabric has faded badly (which usually means that it has become weak too), though...

ORIGINAL: Steven Ferguson

what about this? 82 miles from new the advert says.... 944 link

and I thought mine was pretty low miles at 35k....tssk...

That car seems a bit strange - as has been said, how does chassis no.1 end up for sale with a general car dealer - this would have been kept by the factory as effectively a prototype (as with the first 10 of each new model with 911's) but then also not to have been used (ie no mileage) ...

I doubt it will find a buyer at that level even with its uniqueness ...

So in 82 miles someone decided to change the hatch with an aftermarket one and the wheels ...
The lux has a very discolored interior with significant wear and very oxidised engine bits ,that doesn't happen in 31k ,definitely has 131k .

This one seems to be genuine 30k http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-cars-sale/669003-fs-83-944-33-000-documented-miles-9-8-10-7-700-a.html
