Losing coolant

Checking the car last week I needed to top up the water, which I have never had to do before. Looked underneath and saw a steady but slow drip from the bottom of the bracket that the two auxilliary belt tensioners attach to, plus another drip from the lower front engine cover. I can't see any leaks from any of the hoses. Am I right in assuming it's the water pump (last replaced 7 years and 30k miles ago) or is there anything else I should check?
Many thanks for your help as usual.

Check the plastic elbow that comes out the front of the waterpump itself. These are prone to leaking and much cheaper and easier to repair than a waterpump!

Checked the plastic elbow but no leaks there. Took the front engine cover off and with the engine running you could see a ring of damp about 1cm wide around the water pump pulley. My local mechanic confirmed that the water pump was the problem. As it's my daily driver and the leak was getting worse I couldn't wait for the possible group buy so got one from ECP with the 25% discount and got him to replace it together with new belts which were due later this year anyway.
Having had 2 1/2 years and 16k miles with very little cost I suppose I was due a big bill!

I didnt think the elbow was leaking until I moved it when it was running and a small jet of coolant came out, I had seen steam from under the bonnet under brakign so I guess the braking forces were doing the same thing, was not losing much.
