Looking For Speedster

Hello to all ,

Just joined the forum today following a conversation with Chris D ( very helpful
chap ) .

I have long lusted after a 911 ( or at a pinch a 964 ) Speedster , preferably a
turbo bodied white or red model , but unfortunately I cannot afford one on an
outright cash basis !

I would need to px my much loved Alpine White 944 Turbo Cab which was first
registered on 5/2/93 ( K Reg' d ) and I think it was the last one one registered ( I
have not come across any newer than mine ) . I have owned the car since 1996
and the mileage is only 33k with the condition reflecting the mileage . I would post
a photo but apart from this possibly being sacriligious on a Speedster site I am not
well versed in the IT field but if anyone is interested I will furnish them with photos
or drive to show them the car .
For those who might not know it is a limited edition car being one of 100 RHD cars
from a total production run of 500 - it produces 250bhp and is great fun to drive .

I can offer £15/20k in addition to my car for the right Speedster which I can assure
will be coming to a loving home .

I know px is not ideal for private sellers but it is the only way I can get my long
desired Speedster and I can guaranteee the 944 will put a smile on your face .

If anyone is thinking of selling their Speedster and would consider px please let me
know - My tel number is 01709 829520 and I live in Rotherham , South Yorkshire .

Hope to hear from you soon ,

Regards ,

Hi Martin,

It sounds like you have a prime example for part exchange and I certainly think white porsches are very distinctive and look great in the summer!

Would you ever consider a LHD 964 speedster? (pictures can be seen in one of the other threads in this group (earliest thread from Chris I think...)

Good luck in your search and hope you don' t miss the 944 turbo cab too much!

p.s. does it have 4 seats?

Sandeep

[:)]Thanks Sandeep,

Never really thought about a LHD, but I' ve seen your photos on the site - it looks good but we would prefer a RHD model.

The 944 does have four seats but the rear seats do not allow much legroom.

If I don' t get any offers I will stick with the 944, but Chris has also promised to put a note in PP so this might get me a response.

Thanks for your good wishes and enjoy the good weather (due to change tomorrow I think).

Kind regards

Martin
