Thanks in advance

Hi Alan

Haven't got a clue how to send a link to you but can give you a suggestion using a map.

Drive to Ruthin from Ellesmere Port, then take the B5105 to Cerrigydrudion on the A5. Then turn north on to the A4501 and drive that until it joins the A543 and then drive back towards the A5 (two sides of the Evo triangle) to Pentrefoelas. If you want to extend the drive turn right on to the A5 and then take the B4407 towards Ffestiniog, the B4391, the A4212 and then the B4501 back to Cerrigydrudion.

We have driven this route a few times and it is very scenic and usually not too crowded.

Good luck!

Do the B4391 in both directions, it's a fantastic road. Has everything, and my favourite (so far).

He's in for some wet roads today, it's chucking it down here in North Wales :(

Followed your directions to the letter Mac, it was great... Thanks..

1991 Narrow bodied 964, LHD , 400+HP, rear drive........bit of a handful in the wet :) and it sure was wet today.

Loved the roads, did over 200mls..... But the weather was really horrible.

Didn't stop me doing the B4391 four times...........

Glad it's a Narrow964, it sure makes a difference on the tight bits. :)

Thanks for the replys and the road heads up to all the posters.

Cheers Al

A lovely introduction to a new engine...great roads even when they are wet. That's a lot of ponies in a 964, what have you had done to the engine?

Car was a standard 964 Carrera2 with lsd in 1991, the owner then decided in 1998 he loved the car so much rather than change it
he shipped it to his friend Alois Ruf in Pfaffenhausen, Germany and had it stripped and remanufactured as a Ruf RCT.
so 3.6 single turbo with Ruf 6 speed box, Big Red brakes, Ruf susension, Ruf Exhaust, Ruf wheels, Ruf Clocks/dials, Ruf Pedals
And so the list goes on....................... car drives very well. :)

So Roadtax to be purchased when im home on Monday, then on Wednesday its of to AVD Oldtimers in Germany with the
Scottish crew........Awesome...

The only run in the UK is in God's country - North West Highlands

Up Glen Coe through Fort William Over the sea to Skye round Skye, Back through Loch Carron stop at Loch Fishorn Fish Bar over to Applecross along the Coast and so it goes on and on and on

Wales has its runs as well Watch for Speed Cameras in North Wales ESPECIALLY BIKES there are thousands of the bu---rs

Look for the passes between the lakes they are great

We live about 40 miles from Welsh Runs 500 miles from Scottish
