Just pulled the plugs on the '87 3.2 to find No. 3 (front left) electrode oily (so compression/leakdown testing due) and the rest whiteish, indicating over-lean mixture.
I see in Bentleys that the oxygen sensor is a 60K service item and replacement is due on that basis. The bible also fingers the temperature sensor as a possible culprit, and it (coincidentally) is supposed to live at No.3.
The volume air sensor was replaced not many 000's miles ago by the previous owner.
Before I start thrashing, has anyone out there has similar experience?
