Lazy question re rear fogs C4S

I replaced a front side light bulb today. Having done that and as light was fading I checked all my other lights....noticed with my rear fogs on that only the off side fog light was illluminating..........should it be only the off side as I am thinking these should illuminate both sides??? Will someone shed some light on this for me please (pardon the punn!) before I pull the rear light units out for no reason tommorrow.....cheers.

Having been very lazy I have just found this link and its answered my question. I shall carry on talking to myself......[:)]
